Fantasy's Furniture Mod for Minecraft 1.16.5

MinecraftForge mod which adds various Fantasy-Themed Furniture & Decorational blocks to the game.

Every block is fully functional as you would expect them to be and some even come with unique logic like various decorational blocks being stackable, and various furniture set blocks being connected and updating the models based on blocks of similar type around them.

Mod Support

We provide various built-in "Mod-Support Resource Packs", although they will only show up in the Resource Pack selection screen if the mod they would be providing support for is also installed.
CTM Support-Pack will only show if CTM Mod is also installed

The packs come disabled by default [due to a known issue with Minecraft / Forge], although you can enable them and even use the selection screen to change load priority by moving them higher or lower in the list.
Do note however, any support-pack that is enabled but also has a lower priority than "Mod Resources" will effectivly disable said support-pack, this is due to how the resource pack selection logic works.
Doing this essentially tells the game you want our vanilla mod resources to load with higher priority than the custom mod-support-pack resources.

As of right now we provide support-packs for the following mods

  • CTM - CurseForge
    • Connectedt Textures
  • XyCraft: Core - CurseForge
    • Connected Textures
    • This is broken due to a known issue with XyCrafts CTM system & Forge requiring a PR for a potential fix. [See here for issue]
Thus this pack will not be included until this issue is resolved.
  • Optifine - Download
    • Cconnected Textured
    • Dynamic Lights item definitions
    • Emissivity definitions & textures
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: While we provide this pack, it does not mean we will provide support for any issues caused by optifine.
If you run into any issues with optifine, before reporting them please do try and recreate them without optifine being installed.

If there are any mods you would like support added for feel free to open a feature request issue on the GitHub page.

Furniture Station

The furniture station is how we work around having to come up with unique recipes for each block and not having to worry about conflicting with other mod or vanilla recipes.
You use this block to obtain any block from the mod using clay, planks or cobblestone like items.

To obtain a furniture station put a regular crafting table & leather inside of a smithing table.

We make use of tags to try and support as many variations of a given item type as possible in recipes.

The models update to show this visually
